“LE BON SAMARITAIN” health center is located in Ziguinchor, the main city of Casamance region, in Southern Senegal (at Boucotte area, near lycee Djignabo), and was initiated and implemented by African Revival Ministry (A.R.M.). [ link to location] it has been operational since March 2000 and was officially inaugurated on 22/03/2002 by the Mayor of Ziguinchor city. That health center is one of the important activities of A.R.M to respond to humanitarian and sustainable development goals in Casamance. It provides preventive and curative care services to the population of Ziguinchor and its surroundings. Its main activities are: consultation, maternity, Family Planning, vaccination, hospitalization, a laboratory and pharmacy. It is very helpful to A.R.M’s other activities by providing general healthcare for children (orphans and “talibes”) and A.R.M’s workers. It works with auto-generated funds from diverse services of the center. It still needs partners to develop its structure especially laboratory and maternity extension (premises, equipment and staff). The health center LE BON SAMARITAIN is known for its excellent services in the region and is one of the most frequented among other health center in Ziguinchor.

A.R.M with its mission to help community, we identify some health issues which population cannot solve itself. Recently A.R.M, with its medical staff, in collaboration with “Hopital de la paix de Ziguinchor” and CBN organized such work where the population got consultation and medicaments for free: it was held at BOULOFAYE DIALO A.R.M compound. It could be one among other alternative solutions

To improve the population’s awareness of many health issues, here in the region of Casamance, A.R.M organizes campaign of population training on health services in many villages. A.R.M intend to grow its activities, most of all the health center, to help the country facing the healthcare multiple challenges of the Casamance region. Therefore, the Health Project of ARM in Casamance need many partners to come and give help for such needs.
